A few weeks ago we went to a helmet fitting at Emanuel Hospital. I had one for Matthew but he was outgrowing it and was thinking it would be good to get one for the little guy Daniel, as he is a huge daredevil, trying to ride Matthew's scooter and other riding toys down the driveway! Ah!
It was really cool. They have helmets for all sizes, toddler through adult. You check in, they fit you, you pick out a new helmet and then they fit it on you or your child, show you how to adjust it and what it should be like. I loved this. Daniel hated it (poor kid!), Matthew thought it was so cool. And get this all, they are only $5.00 each! Is that awesome or what!? You just show up, at the location. You can also bring your old helmets to recycle. I thought that I would share with all my friends that the next one is Sat. Sept 13 from 10a.m.-2p.m. at the Legacy Mt. Hood Medical Center Kids Fair, 24800 SE Stark St. Gresham, OR. The next one that is closest to us though is at Legacy Good Samaritan Hospital 1015 NW 22nd Ave. on Friday, November 21, from 3p.m.-5p.m. in the Wister-Morris Conference Room. Go check it out! With all our little kiddos we want to keep them safe!
