Look at that shot of the Sacagewea Lake, over in Longview Washington! Wow, it is gorgeous here during the Fall, loving it! God, you made some gorgeous scenes for us to enjoy! Yesterday at church the bass player of SonicFlood, Grant, came to visit our church! Wow! He was awesome! He came to just worship with us and preach, to also share some of his heart about America and give us information for Compassion International! His message was so cutting to my heart. He talked about how the nation of Austrailia sees America, It was really eye opening. They are sending missionaries here to preach to us! To get real, to look at our lives as our ministry through our actions and the people we see each day and that we are so blessed in this great nation, we have everything that we could ever want, need, etc... and how we can get lost in that. It is true. I would love to be able to share all that he spoke about but I couldn't even come close to giving it justice! It struck me deep. I have always been someone who thought that, like, let's reach the lost here in America, we need to reach the lost here too, our country is so lost! I have never had on my heart to go to another country and preach about God, there are others who God has called to do that, just not me! :) I am thankful to know that there are certain people God has called to go to other nations. And what we do each day to is our ministry. I see my neighborhood as a ministry, as a mom right now, to reach the kids in my boys lives, my friends with kids, etc... It was a great word from this guy anyways, he was really funny and he had a moving message!
After church we went out to eat, my mom, dad, sister, her hubby, their boy, Matthew and Daniel and I. (Steve is in Arizona. His mom is holding up good, doing well, she is sure enjoying having some company. They went out to a restaurant last night, that was good, she has another intense dose of chemo tomorrow in Phoenix, please keep her in your prayers) After an eventful lunch, as it always is with the boys, we went to the park, and played for a long time! Got some great pics! Thanks mom... This weather is so awesome. I love it. The layers of our jackets, hats, etc... had to come off, it got really nice. :)
