Matthew, Daniel and I headed out on Saturday morning to the Ocean, Seaside! It was so fun. We went to the little Aquarium to see the sealife. Matthew was gonna feed the seals, but they were splashing so much, people were drenched, so he decided that he didn't want to do that, he hates to get wet! We checked out some other stuff, like the jellyfish and crabs, he loves the crabs. They had a big octopus that he loved, and a squid that really interested him. Then we went to Subway and headed out to the sand for a fun picnic, then out to the water for some 3 hours of playing in the water! Matthew dug holes, played in the holes, even stuck his head down in one like an ostrich! (About a half inch of sand came out of his head in the bath that night! HA!) He didn't like the water at first, but it grew on him, he loved to run from the waves, we kept getting water all around us, check out the pic of the stroller down in the water (and yes, I lugged that stroller all the way down there, what a workout, forgot that I had some of the muscles that hurt the next day!)There were soooo many people down at the ocean, it was fun. I even ran into a friend that I hadn't seen for years, small world! We had a blast! Me and my little boys! What a joy, what a privelege to be their mom, they are awesome. :) I was looking at Matthew, playing so enthusiastically and it hit me, man, he loves life. I wanted to be a kid again! I acted like it a little down there, fun! Then this family of like 50 people came down and parked their camp by us, Matthew played with their kids and shared toys, it was great. Wow, it was a job, like wow, go single moms to get your kids out like that, but man, it was worth it! Loved it!

Geez, I can't even take the dogs to the beach without getting tired, and look at you with the little boys! I told you I read your blogs, so now I'm filling you up with comments since I can't sleep...
Love the pictures, especially of the one where Matty was in the stroller w/ Daniel!
