Doing some cookin' & blessin'!

These are sooooo good Mom, I cannot wait to give them to Jacob!

Knock, Knock Jenn, let us in!

Matthew is our little chef in training, with his daddy and I! First Matthew helped cook the noodles and stuff for dinner. He was cutting the butter cube and putting it into the pot, stirring it, testing the noodles (by taking them out, placing them on the counter and tasting them to see if they "were okay!") and helping with everything in general, for dinner last night. He really has a passion for cooking. He likes to wear his apron, which I found him wearing like this, (what good is it when it is being worn like that, but oh well, go Matthew and Steve!) and he was quite proud of himself. Later that evening Matthew and mommy baked some cupcakes. He is really into doing it all. It is hard to let him do it all sometimes, a little messy but man, the thrill he gets is worth it! The joy and smiles and happiness that comes out of him when he has made something, wow, I cannot even explain it! We took a whole bunch to a few of our neighbors. He was wearing his shorts and then comes out in his rubber boots, he is really into those lately! Ha! If it makes him happy, go for it son. If he doesn't think it's funny, I'm not gonna tell him! Hee Hee! Let him be his own little guy! He was so excited to go and bless our neighbors. He loves them all, he really likes to go see them, visit, play with them. We have some awesome neighbors! This was really an oppurtunity to put a little nugget of charachter into him. I really want to instill in Matthew a compassion for others, a sense of giving to others and treating others good, loving people, meeting people's needs. And what a great thing to reach out to our neighborhood, our own little ministry and mission field, that is what I want to teach our son! Show them Jesus, let some light in son, keep it shining! My neighbors may read this, they are such a blessing to me, such good people and friends, they have to know how much we care for them and that we want to bless them!
Enjoy these shots, you can just see Matthew's joy pouring out of him!
