Life at the Kreins household

Greetings all! Thought that I would post some updates to our lives... man, time goes fast with these little ones. Matthew is really getting into BEING a fireman, I think that he really thinks that he is a real fireman! It cracks me up, he is obsessed and so passionate about saving the people from the smoke and fire and putting out the fire, it is great to watch such a little person so wild about something that is really serious and grown up! He likes to be Spiderman too, cause he helps people, saves the people from bad guys. That is something we always have to talk about, the bad guy concept, such a thing to watch his little mind process that and think about it. Like how there are people who do bad things, not bad people, that is what we try to teach and tell him. It is a great teaching time! Daniel is doing great. Our little guy weighed in at 12 lbs. 1 oz. yesterday at his 2 month checkup, he is truly our little hulk! Matthew calls him chubba love sometimes, it is cute! Matthew is soooo in love with him, it is really a great thing to see, blesses us! Daniel is getting to be my little wonderful sleeper though lately. Just a kicked back kid I think too. Matthew was always a good sleeper too, such a blessing, cause man, mama needs her sleep! You all know what I mean! Life with these boys is such a joy. With two it is such a juggling act. We were talking to the Ismert family the other day, they have 6 kids! I have to say, God bless you Sunshine and Michael, you guys rock, we struggle with two at times! You are a true inspiration with your patience and love! Keep it up! Raising a family is such a gift from God, you pray and hope you are doing it all right and stuff. I know we are all gonna make mistakes, have our struggles and not know what to do sometimes, God we ask for your grace in raising these little people! Steve is doing good. He is currently working a job where he travels, for awhile there he got to come home everynight though, it was so great, to see him, for the boys to hang out with him more, for me to have help! He is still going for the marathon in October, sort of having a set back with some neck troubles, he has some sort of pinched nerve or something, he is going to get a massage today to see if that will help. He and I are doing good, and life is complete with our little family, God is a God of miracles and we thank him for what he has done in our family!
Things with Steve's mom are better, she is recovering well and she is in good spirits! Such a trooper she is. We have strong moms, please continue to keep her in your prayers. I have another thing to ask for prayers for. My brother Nick has been having some health issues these past few months with migraines and such. My mom insisted he get in for an MRI of his brain. He has had three brain surgeries in his lifetime, for those who don't know, that his first one was when he was 6 months old and the operation to save his life left him disabled. Sooo, they did this MRI and now they have found 3 abnormalities. This is how they discovered his first aneurism when he was an infant. They have an angiogram scheduled for this coming Wednesday to find out what they are. The news of this really has rocked me. Here I am, after going through all this with my own husband, his mom and stuff and then, wow, something else. God give us strength to make it through this life! I was having a weak moment the other day and called my mom. My own mother, her son is the one going through this and I needed her to encourage me, that is how amazing she really is. She said Sharrie, God has taken care of your brother since he was born, all his life he has guided us to the best care, best support, best schools, best surgeons, etc... he is going to take care of him again, and that God loves him more than we do, that Nick is our angel on loan. My mom is so strong, so amazingly strong, I am not as strong as her. I only hope to be someday. She is right though, God loves us, he cares for us more than anyone here on Earth and so he will take care of us. And he will take care of us people who are watching the suffering too, he knows it hurts us, he knows it is hard for us to see our loved ones go through pain, through these trials, he has a plan though. I know this more and more as each trail comes my way in life. He is in control, his hand is in it all! Amen!
I want to say Happy Mothers Day to all my friends and family. I love you all and hope that your day is blessed, that you feel loved and special. Let's love each other greatly friends, we never know what tomorrow holds. God bless you all, I wanted to also say that I am sorry I haven't been catching up on emails, I will get to them, sorry! Life is busy, as for all of us it is! Take care! Love, Sharrie

Thank you Sharrie for your encouaging words. It blesses this mother's heart to see her children grasping life's deepest concepts and that they are seeking God and desiring to know His ways. Seeing your children acknowledging life with gratefulness, passion and compassion is a gift. "Bless the Lord oh my soul!" Psalms...
"My cup runneth over" Psalms23
"Acknlowledge Him in all thy ways and HE shall direct your paths" Proverbs...
Thank you Steve and Sharrie for hanging in there, loving and caring for my grandsons, endeavoring to follow after the Lord and seeing how He is leading and blessing you and your family. Don't give up, it is worth it!!!
