Fireman Matthew

Matthew received an awesome REAL fireman helmet from our uncle Frank Miller, as he is an EMT in Kingman Kansas, Matthew just loves it! He does actual drills of a fire. He lays out his "gear", the helmet, his boots, his clothes, and his fireman backback that he pretends is his oxegyn tank, (a backpack from Auntie Tiel and Uncle TJ) and then he lays on the ground, says mom, do the drill! I yell out ding, ding, ding. He jumps up, starts yelling emergency, emergency! Puts all his "gear" on and then runs to me, says, where is the fire??? I tell him that it is in a certain room or area of the house, he proceeds to run there and yell, I have to save the children!!! He is really into it! What an imagination! Thanks for the helmet aunt Karen and uncle Frank!
We actually had a house burn down, right in front of our house, our poor neighbors... bless them Lord. Matthew really watched it all day, we prayed for them, talked to the fireman and helped in the emergency all we could. Made Matthew really even more determined that he is gonna be a fireman! Starting young! That is when their little minds are just soaking it up, he would make a great fireman someday, such a little helper and wants to save people! Bless his little heart!
